SNQ Hub is a live-event operations platform operated by Compact Octane LLC ("SNQ Hub," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through the SNQ Hub mobile app and websites (snqhub.com and app.snqhub.com), how we use it, and the choices you have.
SNQ Hub serves two kinds of people: organizers, who create and run events, and attendees, who view an organizer's live event page. We handle data differently for each, as described below.
From organizers and operators. When you create or manage an organization, we collect the email address you use to sign in (authentication is handled through Google's identity platform), the organization details you enter (name, branding, schedules, sponsor information, announcements), and basic account activity. If you purchase a paid plan, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
From attendees. You do not need an account to view an event. When you open an event page by scanning a code or entering a join code, we collect limited technical and usage information automatically, and — only if you choose to receive alerts — a push notification token for your device and the attendee group you select.
Usage and device information (both). To help organizers understand their events and to operate the service, we collect anonymous, aggregated analytics such as page views, joins, engagement, sponsor-link clicks, approximate referral source, device or browser type, and time of access. This information is not used to personally identify attendees.
If you opt in to alerts for an event, we store a push notification token (provided by Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) so the organizer can send you event updates for the group you selected. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the token is no longer used once the event ends or you disable notifications.
Organizers can publish announcements that are converted to spoken audio using a third-party text-to-speech provider (ElevenLabs). The announcement text the organizer enters is sent to that provider to generate the audio. We do not send attendee personal information for this purpose.
We use trusted third parties to run SNQ Hub, and share information with them only as needed to provide the service:
We do not sell your personal information. When you join an organizer's event, the information associated with that event is available to that organizer. We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users and the public. If our business is transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We keep organizer account and event data for as long as the organization is active or as needed to provide the service. Attendee push tokens and event-specific data are retained only as long as needed for the event and are removed or anonymized thereafter. Aggregated analytics may be retained to understand service trends.
SNQ Hub is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
SNQ Hub is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
